Jack's Page

John Raymond Marchiori (Jack to those of us who know him well) was born on September 21, 1998, the son of Ray Marchiori and Terri Murnane Marchiori.

Jack is the first grandchild of Ed and Laurel Murnane. Because Ed is the webmaster of this site, he can get away with putting photos of Jack on the site for everyone to see!

Jack lives in Arlington Heights, Illinois, just a stone’s throw from his grandparents.

Jack is the great-grandson of the late Ed and Dorothy Murnane; the great-great-grandson of the late James and Nora Murnane; and the great-great-great-grandson of the late Edmond and Johanna Marnane of Tipperary, Ireland. (Jack also is the grandson of Pauline and the late Ray Marchiori.)

Jack's Fourth Birthday! (ok, maybe a few days early)

Spiderman was in every corner of Jack's birthday party, including on the cake!
	It took Jack a moment to get a good burst of wind, but he did it and the candle(s) were gone.
Mom and Joey provided plenty of help opening all those packages.
	The highpoint of the day was the new bike, and Joey let his big brother know that he expects to use it too!

No doubt about which is Jack's favorite baseball team! Jack tried out a White Sox uniform at a Sox-Twins game in April, 2001.

	Jack wasn't at Iwo Jima but he does know how to plant a flag -- this one is in grandma Laurel's yard.
The fish didn't really need any more water but Jack wasn't taking any chances (May, 2001).

His first school photo! Jack didn't look too happy as he sat still for the photographer for the Red Wagon Nursery School.

Summer is coming to an end so we better take advantage of the few hot days the Chicago area has had in 2000.

Global warming? Hah, Al Gore doesn't know what he's talking about -- about anything!

What could be a better way to spend a night than watching the Chicago White Sox with Mom and Dad? Jack saw his first Major League Baseball game -- a White Sox victory! -- on August 5, 2000, with Mom, Dad, Grandma and Papa, Uncles Mike and Brian, and Great-Grandparents Leo and Mildred Steffes, plus Ed and Cheryl, Gail and Mary Kay, Steve and Katie Appelbaum, and Beth.

		Hmmm, Papa hasn't added any new pictures to my web site lately; wonder what I can do to get him moving.
I know! I'll get Mom and Dad to take me to Alaska and we'll get lots of new pictures!

Jack and dad share a wholesome meal in Alaska before Jack, Mom and Dad enjoyed some of Alaska's scenery.
	Just a couple of almost identical photos to show what a big boy this world traveler has become. Photos taken in June, 2000, Jack at 21 months and anxious to welcome a new brother or sister in October.

	Great-grandpa Leo Steffes, Great-grandma Mildred Steffes, joined Grandma Laurel Murnane and Mom Terri Marchiori in helping Jack celebrate his very first birthday!
Of course for Jack, the object was to get as much ice cream and cake on his face as possible!

Jack is ready for the football season.	Jack searches for his Irish roots in a local cemetery. Actually, he's crawling around the Celtic Cross in his grandfather's garden, and there are no ancestors buried there. Or are there? (September, 1999)
	James Mustillo is Jack's second cousin on the Steffes (Laurel's) side of the family. His parents are Tom and Sarah (Kahler) and they live in North Carolina. James was born in October, 1997. This is a Christmas 2000 photo.
	The first Noelle in the family is Noelle Clare Mustillo, James' sister and the daughter of Tom and Sarah Mustillo. Noelle Clare was born 9 june 2001.

	This is Sean Patrick Bird just before his first birthday. Sean was born September 12, 1999; he's the son of Joe and Red Bird and Jack's third cousin. His new sister, Madelyn Violet, appears a little lower on the page.
Zoe Elizabeth Bird was born 5 January 2000. She is Sean Bird's first cousin and Jack's third cousin. Her parents are David and Schari Bird.
	Madelyn Violet Bird joined the world on 4 May 2001. She is the daughter of Joe and Regina Bird and the granddaughter of Don and Gloria Murnane Bird. Madelyn's brother, Sean, appears a few spots higher on this page.

And here's Brittany Marie Murnane, born 27 June 2000, daughter of Kevin and Nicole Murnane. While Joey Marchiori has claimed the title of youngest in the clan (for now), Brittany is still the youngest Murnane.

And as she clearly demonstrates, she's another Chicago Bear fan!
