You expect me to cut this

If this photo looks familiar, it is!  It appears at the top of Jack's page, too.  It was taken shortly after Jack's third (September)  and Joey's first (October)  birthday.

Joey demonstrates his new skill -- he can sit up -- in this June, 2001 photo in Grandma Laurel's yard.

Always alert,  Joey pays close attention to everything that's happening around him.

It's been a few months since
new photos have been added
to Joey's site so this is what
he looked like in May, 2001
at seven months.

Joey and
Father Justin Kusibab,
who baptized him (see photo
below) have become
good friends.  Joey and
his family will miss Father
Justin when he leaves
Our Lady of the Wayside.

This photo was taken in
in April, 2001.

Baptize-1.jpg (54822 bytes) With godmother Mary Kay Appelbaum holding him, Joey was baptized on December 3rd by Father Justin Kusibab at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Arlington Heights.  Godfather Brian,  and dad and mom, Ray and Terri, were close at hand.
Uncle Brian and great-aunt Mary Kay were the godparents when Joseph Edward Marchiori made his debut.

The christening gown, which was worn by brother Jack two years ago, was made in Ireland.

Joey'sFamily.jpg (55870 bytes) Here's the first photo of Joseph Marchiori with Mom, Dad and big brother Jack, taken about 45 minutes after Joey joined the family on October 17.

October 17 was an exciting day for Joey -- it was his first day ever!
And Joey was the center of attention for Grandma, Mom
and, below, for Jack, who wondered why Joey
was wearing a silly hat.

This grandfather isn't usually seen on this side of the camera but Joey's arrival prompted a rare appearance. joey-papa.jpg (53380 bytes)
UncleBrian.jpg (46124 bytes) Uncle Brian visits Joey for the first time; he'sJoey's Godfather.  Jack, of course, knows when the camera is around.
And Uncle Mike's smile shows how happy he is to be uncle to two good looking little fellows. UncleMike.jpg (46157 bytes)
Leo-kids.jpg (58475 bytes) Joey met his Great-grandfather,
Leo Steffes, on Leo's birthday.
With Joey and Great-grandpa
Leo are cousin, Katie Appelbaum
and Joey's big brother, Jack.

Katie Appelbaum shows she'll be
a good baby-sitter for Joey in a
few years.
