The majesty of the Rock of
Cashel dominates the Tipperary landscape, with Slievenamon visible in the distance. Cashel is where St. Patrick converted the Kings of Munster to Christianity.
It is visible from the Murnane homestead.
There is a Marnane buried in the cemetery
visible on the lower right of the castle grounds. |

| Young Irish girl
Annie Moore and her brothers were the first immigrants to enter Ellis Island in 1892.
They sailed from Queenstown (now Cobh) in Cork where an impressive Heritage Center
tells the story of the Irish who left for America, including the Murnanes and Marnanes. Cobh (pronounced cove) will be one of the stops on the Murnane Reunion Tour
in 2002.
